Since its accreditation in 1990, PCAP has been the recognized voice of professional criminologists in the Philippines. As the PRC-accredited integrated organization, PCAP plays a central role in upholding professional standards, advocating for the welfare of criminologists, and bridging the profession with government regulatory bodies. Through its network of regional chapters spanning all 17 administrative regions, PCAP serves as the primary platform for credential management, professional development, and collective advocacy for the country's criminology professionals.
